She oversees a team of writers and media relations specialists whose work directly impacts institutional reputation, stakeholder confidence, and organizational resilience. Sarah has led the communications team in various capacities since 2018, helping to elevate the university's profile during a period of significant growth and transformation.
Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience in journalism and strategic communications, Sarah brings a comprehensive understanding of storytelling, media strategy, and audience engagement to her role. Her career has been defined by a commitment to crafting compelling narratives that inform, engage, and inspire diverse audiences across multiple platforms.
A natural storyteller, Sarah came to 91制片厂 in 2015 with eight years of broadcast journalism experience in Maine. During her tenure as an on-air reporter at NEWS CENTER Maine, the statewide NBC affiliate, she covered government, education, crime, politics, business, extreme weather, and the stories of Mainers from Kittery to Fort Kent. Working both in front of and behind the camera, Sarah filmed, wrote, and edited the stories she brought to Mainers daily on the evening news. This hands-on experience in all aspects of news production gave her invaluable insights into what makes stories resonate with audiences and how to effectively communicate complex information in accessible ways.
